Yoga for Active Recovery

This class will focus on all the parts of the body we tend to ignore – the Hipflexors, Psoas, Gluteus Medius, Periformis, Feet, transverse abdominals, and opening the front side of the body. When we focus on one activity (or multiple activities using the same range of motions) or sit a lot due to our jobs we create imbalances.
It’s these imbalances that lead to injury and chronic pain. Through yoga we can reduce the risk of injury and chronic pain by brining our body’s imbalances back into balance.
This class is for athletes of all types, beginners, folks who sit a lot and anyone who wants to feel more connected to their bodies and gain mobility, flexibility, stability and strength.
